SteveScan

 

SteveScan lets you continue using Virex 7 even on systems normally incompatible with it, such as Mac OS X Tiger, providing access to the Virex command-line explorer/scanner and presenting it within a very pleasant graphical interface.

Simply install Virex 7 and then disable all of the background applications that it installs.

Open SteveScan and run a scan. SteveScan can explore and disinfect the startup disk or users folder. It can also repair permissions and link you to the direct download site for Virex updates.

SteveScan has been tested with Virex 7.2.1, but should also be compatible with Virex 7.5.1.


 

In order to use SteveScan you have to meet the following system requirements:

 

* Operative System: Mac OS X v10.2 (Jaguar) / Mac OS X v10.3 (Panther) / Mac OS X v10.4 (Tiger) / Mac OS X v10.5 (Leopard)

 

Minimum System Requirements:

 

* Processor Power PC G3/4 / Memory RAM 128 An active Internet connection
